Jesus said......"Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4
True hope and healing begins with coming to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he sent his one and only Son, so that you and I would not perish (be separated forever) from him, but have eternal life (long beyond our life here on earth).
Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned (said, done, or thought things that do not please God), and fall short of the glory of God." Therefore, we are disqualified from having the "eternal life" mentioned above.
Because of OUR SIN and BROKENNESS... Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
BUT GOD... has a plan of Redemption for Your Life :Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrates his own love toward us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." So, this means we can simply come to Jesus as we are, not fixed up, not dressed up, no need to get our lives in order, simply come and surrender.
THE WAY: Romans 10:9 says, "That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
GOD'S Free Gift of Salvation by GRACE through FAITH and a Purpose for Your Life: Ephesians 2:8-10, "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith - and this not of yourselves, it is the Gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works , which God prepared in advance for us to do."
If you sincerely believe the truths of God's word above, and pray the prayer of salvation in Romans 10:9, understanding that you have sin, recognizing your need to be saved by God's grace and forgiveness, surrendering your heart to Jesus, you are now truly a Child of God, and therefore true hope and healing can begin.
CONNECT to a Church Family: Once you've become a believer in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, it is very important to be a part of a Church Family so that you can truly find support with fellow Pilgrims along life's journey. If you would like to connect with our church family at FAITH Baptist Church you can find out more about us by clicking on the "CONNECT WITH US" tab on the menu bar at the top of the screen.
God is decisively drawn to those who are mourning, hurting, struggling, and who are brokenhearted. - Pastor Richard Mills
